really phil, cause the mental part of the game is very vital. jamarcus has a fantastic arm but sucks,

The Giants didn’t sit Ron Dayne, he did it to himself! Dayne was a huge back, the type that must keep his feet moving and run up the middle, but everytime he got handed the ball he would stop his feet and dance around. He also struggled to keep his weight down, and often looked more like a fullback. Eventually Tiki won the starting job and Dayne was let go. Dayne never performed like a number one pick anywhere else, so it’s not the Giants fault, it’s Dayne’s!

How bout Ron Dayne drafted by the Giants out of Wisconsin. Heisman trophy winner, set Huge 10 and NCAA rushing records. Got to the Giants and sat on the bench his entire career. I estimate that is more of a team not wanting to invest the time in a player rather than the player not living up to expectations.

  • Ruderidge says:

Leaf was bust because its like what they talked about on this record. A lot of money and trades went into getting Leaf and he gave them nothing in return but a career rating of 50… So basically large investment + loss in return = Bust
It would be like investing millions on a Presidental canidate and he doesn’t make it to the primary.

  • Volcomrider2207 says:

    J. Russel is worser the Windows…

  • TheSlothook says:

Why is ryan leaf considered the worst bust? Is it just because peyton manning went first? I feel thats unfair.

  • nintendofan50 says:

lol Brady Quinn and Russel = Busts

  • Ganstadog11 says:

Al Davis is the owner of the raiders

  • TheCompulsionToKill says:

honestly is russell really as terrible as ppl say he is. i mean he wasnt really even hyped that much in institution until end of his junior and senior year. if u watch him in institution he also makes plenty of mental errors continuously which shoulda been a sign

  • broederkundoe says:

Sure there’s some things that you cannot place on the player. In this case but, I’ve seen small , on or off the field that would make me reflect that he would perform well under surpass conditions. He isnt the 1st nor last QB that starts in an underperforming team. I’m not looking for him to carry the team, I’m looking for glimpses of hope…

  • Y2JTO says:

If they due something smart and hire a new president and fire Al Davis, but can’t because he’s the majority owner and the franchise can’t get rid off him soon. If they don’t get rid of him, the fans will question for Davis’s head on a stake. The Raiders have a passionate fanbase and I feel for them. Get rid of Al Davis and Cable and place in Shanahan as head coach and hire Bill Cowher as majority owner.

  • Y2JTO says:

What are you talking about, the real problem is Al Davis. He’s too senile and needs to stop taking terrible prospects, JaMarcus was his first real excellent pick in a long time, but with no help, how can JaMarcus renovate, plus their 2-14 season, the defense was 3rd, the offense was last. Randy Moss can also be blamed for not selection the team due to him not really trying at all in Oakland. The Vikes and Raiders both got majestically screwed in that trade. The Raiders got a bone idle player, and the Vikes busts.

  • broederkundoe says:

I hear you , but how much time will you give this guy to “grow up”. He doesn’t seem to be doing anything uncommon from before. Are you gonna stick with this guy, hoping he will get surpass, while your organisation is falling apart. Or are you gonna give someone else a chance? I would opt for the latter.

  • Y2JTO says:

Akili Smith must’ve gain more experience, if he stayed in institution, maybe he could’ve been Pro Bowler, but he’s too ancient to rewrite that mistake.

  • Y2JTO says:

He just needs to grow up and work on accuracy, and when does that, this guy will be very excellent.

  • PhillyChzStk2012 says:

why the fuck is that douchebag even putting McNabb in the same sentence as Tim Couch, Akili Smith and Cade McKnown?! Are you fuckin kidding me? “not as terrible” wow fuck you analyst faggot

  • broederkundoe says:

Jamarcus russel is horrible and his window of opportunity is gone now. Doc G will take over as starter.

  • WissMongler says:

at least he wasnt as terrible as LEAF lol

  • NAKEDNESSify says:

phil have forgot about that dreadful seed you spit out ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh chris sims

  • crookedlettaz11 says:

jamarcus still has time, he can rewrite his legacy still…but he’s hideously overweight and he couldn’t hit an personnel building if he was standing in the entrance

  • tweakrenegade says:

harrington is not a bust… and leftswitch isnt either…

  • xxJuBxx says:

Joe Thomas safe pick and Jamarcus the risky pick…. who would’ve known that Joe Thomas wud be a top 3 o-lineman and Jamarcus would be the largest a joke to date.

  • thizhypy3000 says:

byron hasnt been a Jag for 2 seasons now
he was a backup in ATL and now hes a back up in Tampa

  • N3STS says:

at least Byron is a number is num. 1 in his team (jags). Joey is a lost hope. lol

  • thizhypy3000 says:

we forgot Joey Harrington and Byron Leftwich lol
