The NFL draft is ridicolous. Any draft is stupid. Why must a player be told where he has to play, if only for a year. I know the argument for it is that it “evens up” the field, but the question is why the concern about things being equal? Sounds a bit socialist to me. IMO it points to the lack of real passion the average American sports fan really has. He is more concerned with equality that right survival of the fittest/best. New York can attract the best talent? TOUGH SHIT. Deal with it.
