Why did the NFL decide to broadcast very good football games on the NFL network?

Seriously? It pisses mе οff thаt thе cowboys-packers games, whісh wаѕ thе mοѕt vital regular game οf thе season above аnd beyond thе colts-pats, wаѕ aired οn a tіnу network аѕ opposed tο a hυgе one lіkе ABC οr CBS οr whatever. In addition, іf thе pats gο undefeated, estimate whеrе іѕ thе οnlу рlасе уου саn watch thаt historic last regular season game?
Seriously, I reflect thе NFL ѕtοрреd caring аbουt thе fans. Whу dο thеу broadcast games οn NFL network now?

The schedule was made before the season started. They had no thought that the Cowboys-Packers game would be as huge as it was. They also had no thought that the Pats might be making history in week 17.

    Money, money … and money.

You’ve got it. The NFL does not care about you one bit. It cares about your wallet. This was a brazen attempt to get into your wallet. All the talk about how vital the fans are is pure BS. Note to Cowboy fans: Jerry Jones will sell you out in a heartbeat. Beware.

one word… GREED .. they want the advertizing dollars, and they want the fans to pay for the NFL network… alas, many of us, cannot get the NFL network, even if we were willing to pay for it.. our cable providers don’t carry it.

to force the cable companies to place nfl network in the basic package so the customer does not have to pay more for the nfl network like they currently do

  • TL says:

The root cause is a dispute between the NFL and cable providers. The NFL wants their channel to be part of basic cable, the cable companies want to add it as a premium channel. At some point one of them will break down, but expect it to cost you the fan extra $ each month no matter which way it goes.

Either way it’s costing fans, many of whom are missing out on some of the best games of the year. My girlfriend really gets the NFL network on her dish, but I don’t bother watching because the announcers are so horrible.

Do you reflect NFL care for fans? it’s incorrect mate. It is all about money. Some people on yahoo community show us how to watch the game free on the Internet.

  • dave101 says:

money is right, but not from the n.f.l. they wanted the cable companies to place the n.f.l network on basic cable, but the greedy cable companies wanted to add it the premium package, that’s why its on basic satellite t.v. and not on cable, this is a fact,

FOR PROFIT THEY STARTED THEIR OWN STATION SO THEY COULD CHARGE CABLE COMPANIES TO ADD THEM TO THEIR PAYED NETWORKS
