Can we start a petition asking the NFL to require they sing the National Anthem correctly or stop playing it?
OK, thе Super Bowl іѕ аbουt tο ѕtаrt. Thеу јυѕt played thе National Anthem. Whеn I аm аt a game, I want tο bе аblе tο ѕhοw mу national pride аnd sing along. Hοw саn уου sing along іf thеу don’t play аnd sing іt properly? It drives mе nuts!

I agree. I am in Iraq, and my unit along with hundreds of soldiers watched the game in the chow hall. We all had to stand at attention for the singing of our national anthem. I was really embarrased to stand at attention for that disaster of a version of our country’s song. When it is played in a traditional form it takes my breath away, and brings a tear to my eye. Not this time.
Thank you! More people really reflect this way. My family and I were watching it and we heard the anthem and we just looked at each other saying like “WTF IS THIS”. It’s like they ALWAYS wreck it at most football games.
I can’t stand how they like remake the song. If you can’t sing it right, then don’t sing it. It’s terrible enough they change it but was is worse is that it sounds horrible. Like the original sounds so much surpass. They are making fools of themselves. The only people who I reflect will sing it right are country singers.
I’m sick of hearing “Home of the FREEEEEEEE yeayea and the Ho OME of the BRAVuhuhuh” It’s like stop with the small remix. You SUCK when you remix the song.
But yes. We must hold a petition. People who sing our nation athem like that are an embarressment. No joke.
