What percentage of NFL players are on performance enhancing drugs?

Everyone lіkеѕ tο focus οn baseball аnd guys lіkе Barry Bonds. Bυt Barry’s body іѕ more thе exception rаthеr thаn thе rule іn baseball. Whеn уου comepare thе physiques οf thе average baseball player vs football player аnd іt’s night аnd day. NFL players аrе much lаrgеr. In succession backs & linebackers іn particular аrе ripped.

Honestly i would say more than 75% its sad to say but many athletes do take some type of enhancement rather it be legal or not to use in their sport. Cause every athlete has to perform the best possible so they dont lose their job and i reflect many of them know this and proceed with using them, some do it willingly to be converted into surpass and others do it in dread of losing their edge on other competitors.

I’d have to say that about 90 or 70 percent of pro-football players do. i say 90 because you are right they a much larger and much quicker but then agen you have to reflect about how much persons guys work out and stuff. but even the recruit of the year last year was cough so you’ll never know i estimate. but t answer you question about 85%

  • Craig G says:

    2/3 of them.

you people have to have some faith i’d say about 30% of player do and the other 70% don’t know anything about it. most nfl players don’t talk about it or just don’t do it.

Most pro athletes are on some kind of performance enhancing diet, supplements, etc. How many are on an ILLEGAL substance? I’d say probably in the 20 to 30% range. You can’t really compare the physical attributes of say a Barry Bonds with an NFL in succession back. The workout, diet, and strength programs an NFL player is on are much more geared toward building dense muscle, something that would not necessarily be an advantage for a baseball player.

Clearly too many. According to my sources, this week’s bust in Fla. was only the beginning, and that at least 50 names of current or just former NFL players are on that list. Estimate none of these guys saw Photos of Lyle Alzado or Tony Mandrich before they died…I estimate 195 Lb tailbacks are supposed to bench 400 now…..

  • MIKE J says:

maybe it may be legal drugs suscribed from the doctor in that case maybe 95% but illeagally maybe 50%

  • Hatersproof says:

100%…I am 100% sure bout this

Man, about 90% use ssteroids! Haven’t you seen persons MF’s there flat out huge they look like animals, have you seen persons linebackers they ARE huge! They use them to be larger because they have to be to hold persons hits, and if there not there f*@#% because they get killed with a hit from persons animals.

I would say about 60%. When you see guys coming out of institution and hear about them adding on 20-30 pounds in the off-season it’s ridiculous. No one adds that much weight by working out and eating right. Also, like you said, look at their physiques. They have the broad shoulders, hulking traps, and skinny legs, which are very symptomatic of steroid usage. When these guys start having sensitivity attacks, liver and kidney failure, and terrible backs and knees, we will know more.

I reflect it’s a tiny percentage. These guys work out a constanly . They are on Strict Diets and take all kinds of dietary supplements.
They work hard to get into the kind of shape there in. Sure there are some guys that cheat by taking steroids but I don’t reflect it’s honest to say 80 or 90% of them are on steroids just beacuse a few of them teast positive.
