Talk about over about bull. If the game was so fantastic why could it compete with madden to get the liscense in the first place? I’ve played both 2k is excellent both football and basketball but to say its surpass then a game thats been played for 20 years in Madden is crazy. Its a virtual simulation they cant get all right as u heard other ppl nag about the recievers not adjusting right for the ball in 2k. Madden has glitches but what game doesnt

NFL 2k5 is the best football game ever made, hands down 2k is the best when it comes to sports games. If ea didn’t buy out the rights to 2k football license and if 2k still made football games madden wouldn’t be shit today, I fuckin despise ea sports games.
It is really not. Was 2k a fantastic series? Yes! I loved the first one on Dreamcast. It is one of my favorite games ever. 2k took a shot with All-Pro it didn’t work out so well did it?

2k5 and apf are still the best football games and i can only presume how excellent their games would be had they continued to make them yearly in view of the fact that 2004.

Yes, finally someone notices how terrible madden is. The other day i played espn nfl football and it ran much surpass than madden. I ordered 2k5 today off of amazon for 4 bucks. Madden has been getting worse every year. I stopped buying madden last year. The most recent one I have is 09 and i cant stand it. Such a shame they have the exclusive. I can only presume where 2k would be now. Also, in pure gameplay backbreaker beats madden with its euphoria based engine.
2K5 is just a fantastic game and every year i wish they would take the ESPN presentation from this game and apply it but instead they use a shitty halftime thing that i forgot the name of and In Madden 08 I thought they where taking the right moves towards making a excellent game because if you threw it to Moss or Fitz they would go up for it but when 09 came out I was glad they took persons gold things out but they stop the catching featur and havent used that feature in view of the fact that but NCCA added it and its awesm

I was playing super star in 10 where i saw every thing up close on my receiver and he looks over his right shoulder to catch a pass over his left shoulder and i look at 2k5 and that never happens. Not mention the sprinting in madden 10 looks like shit
Place 2K5′s football presentation, selectable options and gameplay with Natural Motion/ Backbreaker’s Euphoria engine for interactions and tackling and you have a game that EA could not touch if you gave them another 20 years…sad fact is that EA is NOT attracted in making anything more than what they have been doing, warming over ancient features and calling them “new”…

The player models are way beeter than madden and this game was like 5 years ago.Animation transition still way surpass too.
