The Cactus Cuties were invited to sing The National Anthem at The NFL Houston Texans vs Chicago Bears game at Reliant Stadium on Sunday, December 28th 2008. January 22, 2006 – in front of the appreciative Seattle Seahawks fans at Qwest Field, Carrie Underwood sang one of the most beautiful renditions of the National Anthem ever performed on broadcast television. This clip is intended to honor that version, the song itself, and what it represents.
Can we start a petition asking the NFL to require they sing the National Anthem correctly or stop playing it?
OK, the Super Bowl is about to start. They just played the National Anthem. When I am at a game, I want to be able to show my national pride and sing along. How can you sing along if they don’t play and sing it properly? It drives me nuts!
Anyone think we can start a petition asking the NFL – and other sports as well – to require traditional singing of the National Anthem, or out of respect to the nation and the song not sing it at all?
